Design and Service

Rococo provided a full turnkey solution for the customer, taking this project through a full 360 degree design review process to ensure a design was conceived that would blend seamless with the home once constructed and achieve everything the homeowner required.

During the process, various design options were considered until, with the customer’s consultation and interaction, Rococo created a design which provided confidence for all to move forward with.

Focusing on the traditional elements of an orangery, we used timber alternative products to blend with architectural aluminium to achieve a large open plan living area for the customers. French doors, which reflected the timber styled windows, were used on two aspects of the structure to provide easy access to a newly laid patio. Rococo’s design also incorporated a projecting section on the forward face of the orangey. When covering 6000–7000 mm, this breaks up the face, offers definition and interest to the building.

Rococo’s engineered roof structure provided the strength and stability to insert a large, stylish aluminium lantern roof. Our specialist orangey roof structure is perfectly designed to cover large apertures and removes the need for often large and uncompromising brick built corners, which in some cases will overpower a design. With reduced sizing on the corners, Rococo’s timber alternative frames were able to offer a larger uninterrupted view of the garden and surroundings.

New steel works were included as the back of the home was opened up, which meant the existing lounge could then flow seamless through into the newly created orangery area.

Rococo's design-lead process insured that not only did we create an exceptional build, we were also able to meet our customers’ expectations, delivering them a traditional orangery which has become the focal point of their home; an area they automatically head toward and an area they want to be in. This orangery installation has greatly increased the value of the property, not that its incumbents have plans to move anytime soon!
